Life is as beautiful as you think it to be
Amidst from working at home, the occasional cosplay photoshoots, games and shows, as well as the weekly outings and shopping with boyfriends and girlfriends alike, June has been pleasantly nice to me with the little surprises it throw to me along the way.
Being accepted into UNSW is probably the biggest surprise, and another would be finally going back to my original weight of 50kg odd before i went over to Beijing. It's still pretty fat and high for my cosplayer-standard, but i'm in the middle of my diet plan of cutting down on carbo. Having my period cramp was something that helped me - my appetite decreases. For peeps who are looking for a quick diet crash course (not that i am encouraging it), i did lose weight - about a good 5kg in 2weeks by simply cutting off all carbohydrates and took on a liquid diet. Congee and porridge is okay, but not bread. I drank cereal when i feel hunger pangs, and more often than not, i just sleep the hunger away. Trust me, i went from a whooping 54kg to 48kg and by then when i was too hungry to think straight and munching away at food, my weight was still dropping drastically. I'm not sure if it would help, but this might help some of the readers out there who may need a quick lose-weight fix for some important events - think cosfest. Of course, i ate so much after this period of time that my weight went up within a month as well and it took me some time to balance it back to around 50-52kg, my maximum acceptable weight range for myself. I'm still a 40kg odds weight goal person, so yeah. But as time goes by, it seems to get harder and harder for me to get back to that spectrum.
So, what have i been doing these few days? Shows. Internet. Social media websites. Reading.
After months of waiting, which sucks (pun intended), one of my all-time favorite return back with a much more exciting plot. I have always been fascinated with Lilith, and this season was all about the lady of sin. I'm just more interested in the bad side than the good side - its more interesting over there.
Everyone should seriously check this series out because its that good. I cant reiterate on the number of times i have praised this entire series for the looks, body, and plot.
Like the opening song of True Blood, "I wanna do bad things with you".
I have a serious thought of re-watching the entire series again from season 1, just so because its that good. Which leads me to the second recommendation of this entry, which would be :
I started watching this series because of the game, which practically started my fear of zombies, literally standing guard and keeping a watch on my door for any gurgling sounds or shuffling of feet. I had nightmares for days, or weeks actually, but i still continued my willful ways in playing the god damn game and watching the god damn show.
I was so angry at the game's ending, but i must say its good, and realistic. Highly recommended for people looking for a psychological thriller game.
Other than that, i guess life has been looking up for me since my period is gonna be over soon! Cosfest is in approximately 15 days, and Maggie would be visiting as a cosplayer! Can't wait to see her, really
Sorry for my absolutely red face - because i just drank 10 shots before i took this picture with her so pardon me
In any case, she would probably be with me most of the time, considering she don't really know other SG cosplayers so if you see me, you see her LOL.
My cosplay plan would be as followed
Day 1 as Tsukumo with Namiko who is gonna be my Nai-chan, and Day 2 solo as Junko.
Please come and say hi if you are gonna be there too!
& Maggie would be cosing as BRS on day 1, and Sun Shang Xiang on day 2, so say hi if you meet her too!
Thinking of bringing her to Zouk on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday would be cosfest, and Sunday night would be a friend's birthday party over at Changi chalet. & we are gonna party till the next morning whereby we can have a small lunch and send her off for her flight. TA-DAA, all planned out hahha!
Hope there wouldn't be any last minute emergency or whatsoever
Life have been good, both love, friends and family.
In any case, this is something to describe my feelings.
